As Manager of Payroll and Benefits, you will administer district payroll and benefits programs under policies, collective agreements, and legislation. The position maintains benefit records, remits premiums, and assists with CUPE and Teacher collective agreements. It also supports continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead accurate, timely payroll and benefits administration
- Supervise staff and improve systems, processes, and documentation
- Ensure compliance and prepare statutory and periodic reports
- Reconcile advantages, analyze costs, and coordinate external audits




- Liaise with employees, unions, providers, auditors, and administrators

Requirements:

- Business, accounting, or related post-secondary degree or diploma
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner designation or equivalent
- Five years recent progressive payroll and benefits experience
- Staff supervision experience across multiple payrolls
- Unionized public-sector experience and Microsoft Office proficiency
