Build Citi’s low-latency equities trading platform with Core Java expertise and Smart Order Router development in a full time Vice President role.

As a Vice President Java Developer, you will design, develop, and optimize the Smart Order Router within Citi’s Equities Electronic Trading team. The work spans high-performance microservices, routing logic, venue analysis, and distributed systems. You will collaborate with product development, quantitative researchers, and technology teams to deliver trading capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and optimize low-latency Java microservices
- Enhance routing logic and venue analysis models
- Lead technical design discussions and code reviews
- Build monitoring, reconciliation, and recovery solutions




- Improve testing, deployment, and development processes

Requirements:

- Expert Core Java, JVM internals, concurrency, and memory management
- Experience developing high-performance, low-latency systems
- Smart Order Router or automated trading systems experience preferred
- Knowledge of FIX and order and market datasets
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree
