Postmedia seeks an Editor-in-Chief reporting to the Vice-President of News for Medium and Regional Markets. You will guide editorial teams across the Chronicle Herald, Cape Breton Post, rural community titles, and politics bureau. The mandate includes strengthening reputation as crucial community pillars.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute Nova Scotia’s strategic editorial vision, tone, and standards
- Oversee editorial teams across provincial publications and politics coverage
- Set coverage, story treatment, and newsroom priorities
- Develop staff and build newsroom capability
- Manage staffing, performance, and labour relations responsibilities

Requirements:

- Minimum five years in senior newsroom leadership
- Solid editorial judgment and decision-making record
- Experience leading people through change
- Expertise in SEO, audience analytics, and digital optimization
- Newsletter publishing and management experience
