Perform diagnostic mammography and breast ultrasound as a Breast Imaging Technologist with Fraser Health, using specialized imaging equipment and patient care skills.This position supports diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and interventional breast procedures within Fraser Health. You will prepare patients, operate computerized imaging equipment, process data, and monitor procedures. The work follows skilled practice standards and a client and family centered care model.Key Responsibilities:Perform diagnostic mammography examinations according to program standardsConduct breast ultrasound procedures and archive acquired imagesAssist radiologists during interventional breast proceduresReview images for technical quality and completenessMonitor equipment performance and complete quality control dutiesRequirements:CAMRT certificationCAMRT/BCIT Certificate in Breast Imaging or equivalent preparationARDMS or Sonography Canada certificationWorking knowledge of mammography protocols, positioning, and pathologyKnowledge of breast diagnostic medical sonography proceduresBring mammography, breast ultrasound, and interventional procedure capabilities to Fraser Health's patient-centered Medical Imaging services.
