Lead civil quality inspections for Bird on an industrial work site, using concrete, earthworks, documentation, and field coordination expertise. The position follows a fourteen-day-on, seven-day-off fly-in/fly-out schedule, with shifts determined by project needs.

As QA/QC Coordinator, Civil – Industrial West, you will support Bird’s Quality Assurance Program and verify specified requirements. Your work covers concrete, earthworks, piling, rock anchors, subcontractor quality systems, and project documentation. You will coordinate with clients, engineering teams, supervision, subcontractors, and field crews throughout construction and acceptance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect rebar, formwork, embeds, anchor bolts, pours, and repairs
- Verify earthworks, compaction results, fill materials, and backfilling




- Generate non-conformance reports and coordinate disposition and closure
- Create inspection test plans, procedures, reports, logs, and turnover documentation
- Conduct construction and final walkdowns with clients and supervision

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering or related discipline
- Minimum three years’ quality control or civil construction experience
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings
- Proficiency with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office programs
- Robust analytical, communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills
