Shape semantic models and knowledge graphs as an Ontology Knowledge Graph Specialist in Toronto, working from the Virtusa office.

This 6–12 month contract supports business and technical partners through ontology development, semantic modeling, and data integration. You will capture business concepts, define relationships, and standardize meaning across datasets and systems. The work requires collaboration with subject matter experts and platform teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with business experts to capture concepts and definitions
- Design and evolve ontologies, taxonomies, and semantic models
- Build knowledge graphs across datasets and systems
- Develop RDF-based representations using semantic web standards
- Document reusable semantic artifacts and best practices

Requirements:

- At least six years in semantic modeling or ontology development
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Knowledge of RDF, RDFS, OWL, and complex relationships
- Experience with knowledge graph platforms such as Neo4j
- Robust communication with technical and non-technical partners
