How You’ll Make an Impact

- Manage vehicle fleet for the Grid Technologies Service organization in Canada
- Manage infrastructure for the Grid Technologies Service organization in Canada, including but not limited to warehouses and critical mobile equipment such as tool trailers, oil processors, etc.
- Maintain departmental compliance with company policies and procedures and ensure adherence to federal and provincial laws and regulations in Canada;
- Maintain detailed records of servicing and inspection & driver files
- Develop concepts & plans for purchasing and maintaining vehicles, assuring proper licensing of fleet vehicles and annual vehicle/trailer inspections, managing fuel Cards if applicable, scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency, maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection, ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules, approve needed repairs within 2 hours of request, Conducts audits to ensure all required documentation is accurately completed (including ELD’s, IFTA, preventative maintenance logs, pre/post-trip inspections, certifications) and that items are installed correctly with a minimum potential for loss. Working in close coordination with other relevant stakeholders.
- Oversee warehouse operations ensuring implementation of 5S and other standardization practices + a continuous improvement program along a WMS.





Skills and Requirements

- 3+ years in a fleet and/or warehouse management role preferred;
- Knowledge of relevant Canadian provincial and federal laws and regulations
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial truck system components
- Knowledge of Lean practices, standardization and workplace organization methodologies such as 6S, Kaizen, TPM, etc.
- Strong organizational skills for planning and coordinating maintenance & inspection schedules
- Bilingual (English / French)
