Remote - Canada Full-time CA$51,975 - CA$86,625 / year

Manulife is hiring a remote Disability Case Analyst/Case Manager to support plan members across Canada through illness, injury, and recovery. The role may support Absence Management Consultative Services, Short-Term Disability, or Long-Term Disability claims.

Responsibilities

- Manage a dedicated caseload while meeting service-level agreements and turnaround targets.
- Assess claims based on contractual, medical, and vocational factors.
- Develop return-to-work or job-resolution strategies in collaboration with plan members, employers, treatment providers, and internal partners.
- Respond to calls and emails, and write letters explaining benefit-related information and claim decisions.
- Communicate claim decisions with compassion and sound analytical reasoning.

Qualifications





- A college or university degree in a healthcare program or equivalent work experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of disability management, group advantages, or a health-related field is an asset.
- Strong decision-making, organizational, and prioritization skills are required.
- Bilingual English and French is an asset. It is required for successful candidates in Quebec to support clients in other provinces.

Compensation

Annual salary range: $51,975–$86,625 CAD. Actual salary depends on location and job-related factors. Eligible employees may also participate in incentive programs and receive benefits.
