Support mineral processing at Hecla’s Keno Hill mine as a Metallurgy Technician conducting sampling, testing, and mill performance monitoring.

Reporting to the Chief Metallurgist, you will support efficient mill operations and process improvements. Your work includes flotation surveys, particle size analysis, density measurements, and laboratory support. You will also promote protected, environmentally responsible practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct metallurgical sampling, testing, and analysis
- Perform flotation and mill surveys
- Monitor mill performance and troubleshoot processing issues
- Inspect liners, cyclones, and related equipment
- Maintain sampling records, inventories, and laboratory supplies

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education in metallurgy or mineral processing preferred
- Mineral processing, metallurgy, or laboratory experience considered an asset
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and clean abstract
