Build and maintain hybrid cloud infrastructure as a Systems Engineer at DUCA, working with VMware, AWS, Azure, and enterprise networks. Travel within the GTA and occasional evening or weekend work are required.

DUCA’s Information Technology team needs a Systems Engineer to support physical and cloud hypervisor platforms, virtualized servers, applications, and network services. The full time role covers deployment, maintenance, monitoring, security, compliance, and resiliency across infrastructure. You will also support data protection and third-level service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install and manage servers, switches, firewalls, storage, and software
- Deploy and monitor VMware, AWS, and Azure infrastructure solutions
- Maintain security, compliance, resiliency, backup, and replication operations




- Document troubleshooting processes and transfer operational knowledge
- Provide third-level support and identify recurring issue root causes

Requirements:

- Three-plus years as systems administrator, network administrator, or DevOps engineer
- Five-plus years in information technology
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, certifications, training, or experience
- Hybrid cloud enterprise experience managing server, storage, and network technologies
- Windows, Linux, PowerShell, Python, VMware, AWS, and Azure knowledge
