As Team Lead or Manager, Surety, you will coach underwriters, guide performance, and collaborate across functions. You will manage broker accounts, support complex negotiations, and maintain a profitable book aligned with appetite and authority. The position requires strategic execution, communication, and sound judgment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coach underwriters through guidance, file reviews, feedback, and training plans
- Lead meetings, communicate priorities, and monitor department business plans
- Manage performance reviews and career development discussions
- Own broker relationships, account planning,



and pipeline reviews
- Authorize complex business, renewals, endorsements, and exceptions

Requirements:

- Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Eight to ten years of relevant Contract Surety experience
- One to two years of supervisory experience preferred
- Strategic direction, communication, and relationship-building abilities
- Integrity, accountability, adaptability, and willingness to travel
