As Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will direct mechanical design and delivery for process and utility equipment. You will lead multidisciplinary teams across brownfield and greenfield projects. The work includes specifications, calculations, drawings, procurement support, vendor reviews, and compliance with codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead mechanical engineering from concept through commissioning
- Approve specifications, calculations, drawings, and vendor documentation
- Support procurement through technical evaluations and recommendations




- Coordinate design registration with applicable authorities
- Coach engineers and represent mechanical engineering with stakeholders

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 15+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience
- Qualified Engineer registration with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia
- Mining, minerals, and metals project leadership experience
- Eligibility to work in Canada
