About the Role

Our client, a diversified holding company with significant operations in Kimberley, is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst. This role is crucial for supporting strategic decision-making by providing in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for budgeting, financial modeling, performance analysis, and assisting with financial planning and strategy development. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and trend identification.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and valuation purposes.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for senior management.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and periodic re-forecasting activities.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
- Monitor key financial performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information and support their financial needs.




- Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in accounting standards and regulations.
- Support ad-hoc financial projects and analyses as required.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related role.
- Proven experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Candidates based in Kimberley or willing to relocate are preferred.
