Reporting to a Category Director, this Associate Merchant collaborates with Merchants, operators, vendors, finance, and diverse business units. The work supports category success through promotional execution, product planning, financial analysis, and actionable performance insights. Loblaw operates more than 400 grocery stores nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with business units to resolve store inquiries
- Build partnerships with vendors and external partners
- Execute pricing, promotions, advertising, and store communications
- Analyze trends and competitive activity using reporting tools
- Plan product assortments and coordinate planogram execution

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- Retail sales merchandising experience preferred
- Understanding of margin, sales metrics, and shrink
- Ability to influence without direct authority
- Proficiency with analytics and Microsoft Office software
