Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic programming in Owen Sound as a Mental Health Counsellor supporting recovery-focused care.

This part time, temporary position serves the Community Crisis Team within the Wellness Recovery Centre. Working in Mental Health and Addictions, you will support individuals staying at the centre while collaborating with Addiction Treatment Services teams. The work includes crisis assessment, addiction services, and communication with families, physicians, and community providers. Assignment to another program may occur as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide crisis intervention within the Wellness Recovery Centre
- Deliver therapeutic programming using recovery model principles
- Collaborate with Addiction Treatment Services teams
- Support treatment,



rehabilitation, and client goals
- Coordinate quality patient care across departmental interests

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree and applicable professional registration
- Minimum two years’ multidisciplinary team experience
- Experience in addiction services and crisis intervention
- Crisis, risk, mental status, and addiction assessment skills
- Availability for evening and weekend shifts
