Apply finite element analysis expertise at Väderstad, supporting agricultural equipment development through structural, fatigue, and durability simulations. This position uses advanced CAE methods before physical testing.

The FEA Analyst supports Väderstad’s Product & Development team in a manufacturing setting. You will perform static, dynamic, fatigue, and modal analyses while using tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, HyperMesh, or OptiStruct. The work includes structural mechanics, material behavior, load cases, and simulation correlation with test data.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and validate finite element models for equipment components
- Perform structural, fatigue, durability, and modal analyses
- Recommend design improvements for durability, weight, and manufacturability




- Correlate simulations with laboratory and field test data
- Prepare technical reports covering methods, results, and recommendations

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Two to three years performing FEA in manufacturing
- Proficiency with ANSYS, Abaqus, HyperMesh, OptiStruct, or similar
- Understanding of structural mechanics, fatigue analysis, and material behavior
- Ability to interpret drawings, GD&T;, and three-dimensional CAD models
