Lead complex abilities management for the City of Victoria, applying disability management expertise and workplace accommodation knowledge. Hybrid work from home may be available.

Reporting to the Manager, Health, Safety & Wellness, this senior subject matter expert leads abilities management practice. The consultant provides strategic guidance on accommodation, stay-at-work, return-to-work, and workforce participation matters. They also develop programs, policies, tools, and procedures while supporting sensitive cases.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead complex accommodation and disability-related duty-to-accommodate matters
- Direct continuous improvement of the Abilities Management Program
- Develop policies, guidelines, tools, and procedures
- Guide sustainable medical accommodation and return-to-work solutions




- Mentor the abilities management team and escalate complex matters

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education in disability management, human resources, or related field
- At least five years of progressive disability management experience
- Recent experience administering programs in a unionized workplace
- Advanced knowledge of disability management and relevant legislation
- CDMP or CRTWC designation, or equivalent, is an asset
