Senior ETL Quality Engineer with SQL and Python expertise supports Tangerine’s data warehouse environments. Focus on rigorous validation, reconciliation, and pipeline testing.

As part of Tangerine’s Quality Engineering team, you will test ETL workflows, data pipelines, and transformations across enterprise data warehouse environments. The work includes source-to-target mapping, backend testing, and end-to-end validation. You will collaborate with developers, business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve data quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define test strategies from source-to-target mappings
- Validate data accuracy, completeness, integrity, and transformations
- Execute SQL queries across Oracle, SQL Server, and BigQuery




- Develop automated validation and regression tests using Python
- Own planning, execution, defects, reporting, and testing sign-off

Requirements:

- 5+ years of hands-on ETL testing experience
- Solid SQL, backend testing, and BigQuery experience
- Understanding of data warehousing, modeling, and quality principles
- Experience with Informatica PowerCenter, Airflow, and GCP services
- Experience validating structured, semi-structured, and JSON data
