This is expected to be a temporary seasonal position until end of December 2026. Possibility for extension into March 2027 and beyond as well.ResponsibilitiesPick up and deliver customer packages to meet daily pick-up and delivery schedulesScan packages / mail as it is received, delivered, or returned to the depot at the end of the dayResolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customersConduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections using a package scanner and electronic-Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (E-DVIR)When inspections fail, the Courier advises the unit managerRequirementsValid non-probationary Driver's LicenseClean Driving Abstract (please upload a current driver's abstract with your resume)Must successfully pass written & road test(s)Must successfully pass Defensive Driving courseMust successfully pass Courier Methods training courseAbility to read maps; Good sense of geographical directionCourier methods training and/or work related experienceProper scan and load techniquesAbility to lift and/or carry up to 70 lbs.Successfully complete a criminal record check and employment verification to qualifyObtain a clear Police Clearance Certificate when requiredSkillsDomestic ShippingCourier ServicesShipping and Receiving OperationsLanguage Requirement: Proficiency in English is required for this position due to the frequent communications that must be conducted in English with various stakeholders.
