Licensed Electrician - 442A and Certificate of Apprenticeship - Rotating ShiftsLONDON, ON, CA, N6A 4Z2The Industrial Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and automated manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. The role supports production by diagnosing electrical and control system issues, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and implementing equipment improvements to maximize uptime and productivity.ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and industrial equipment, including motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, control panels, and automated production machinery.Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and control system failures to minimize equipment downtime and maintain production efficiency.Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities on manufacturing equipment to improve reliability, safety, and operational performance.Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals to complete repairs, modifications, and installations.Install, test, calibrate, and commission electrical equipment and control systems, ensuring compliance with operational and safety standards.Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance equipment performance, energy efficiency, and production processes.Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation, including work orders, equipment history, inspections, and spare parts requirements.Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, GMP requirements,



and company policies, while promoting a secure and reliable work environment.QualificationsPost Secondary Diploma442A trade license and certificate of Apprenticeship3-4 years of on‑job experience, preferably in the food industryPay & BenefitsIn the spirit of pay transparency, the base pay for this position is$42.00 - $45.00per hour +$1.00per hour shift differential for 2nd shift and a$1.50per hour shift differential for 3rd shift.
