Plan and execute software validation for Husky Technologies in Bolton, applying testing, troubleshooting, and data analysis across component and system designs.

This Software Validation Technologist works within the Innovation and Sustainability Team. You will create testing plans, scripts, schedules, and acceptance criteria for software validation. The work supports product application guidelines, recent technology testing, customer-site activities, and service projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create test plans, systems, strategies, and project schedules
- Implement software validation test plans, cases, and scripts
- Log probable software bugs in Husky’s tracking database
- Analyze data and prepare documented testing conclusions
- Lead improvements to validation procedures, processes,



and practices

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Software, or Mechanical Engineering
- Two-plus years testing and troubleshooting complex mechanical systems
- Experience with PLC programming using IEC 61131-3 languages
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems and data acquisition
- Strong software troubleshooting, debugging, analytical, and organizational skills
