R.J. Burnside & Associates Limited seeks an Engineering Assistant for municipal infrastructure and private land development projects. You will work alongside engineers and technical staff while developing experience with stormwater, water distribution, roads, earthworks, and site plans. The role supports projects across Northern Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare reports and detailed civil engineering designs
- Develop stormwater, water, roadway, and land development plans
- Produce proposals, schedules, specifications, memorandums, and reports
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D for engineering design documents




- Perform contract administration and site inspections as needed

Requirements:

- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Willingness to learn water, wastewater, roads, and drainage
- Strong attention to detail and accurate work habits
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Word and Excel

Build civil design experience through municipal infrastructure, land development, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and team-oriented project delivery.
