We’re excited to share an opportunity for a Junior Industrial Designer to join an established retail display manufacturer based in Oakville, Ontario This position is ideal for a creative and technically skilled designer who thrives on developing innovative, visually engaging retail environments using sheet metal, wood, and mixed materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Conceptual design and development of custom retail display systems, from sketch to final production-ready models.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and fabrication teams to translate design intent into manufacturable solutions.
- Create high-quality 3D models, renderings, and fabrication drawings using industry-standard CAD software.
- Balance aesthetic appeal with practical design for cost, durability, and manufacturability—particularly in sheet metal fabrication.
- Review prototypes, conduct design revisions, and support production teams through the build and installation phases.




- Stay ahead of retail design trends, materials innovations, and manufacturing technologies to enhance product offerings.

Mandatory Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Industrial Design or related technical field.
- 2+ years of experience designing retail displays, fixtures, or kiosks with a strong emphasis on sheet metal design.
- Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D design tools; solid visualization and rendering skills.
- In-depth understanding of metal fabrication processes.
- Excellent sense of design, form, and functionality with a passion for brand expression through physical environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with an ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.

Compensation: $55,000 – $65,000 + Benefits, Bonus
