Medcan seeks a client-focused Medical Sonographer in Markham, using ultrasound expertise to support Annual Health Assessments and other services.

This full time position supports Medcan’s high-performance clinical team at 600 Cochrane Drive. The Sonographer delivers ultrasound procedures, facilitates patient flow, and coordinates with clinic staff for exceptional service. The schedule covers 40 hours weekly between Monday and Saturday, with flexibility to commute to Toronto for training.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare exam rooms and ultrasound equipment for examinations
- Review medical histories and evaluate examination contraindications
- Obtain consent and perform required ultrasound examinations
- Document findings and complete quality assurance checks
- Coordinate with cross-functional clinic teams and maintain equipment

Requirements:

- At least one year of sonography examination experience
- Experience with abdominal examinations
- Membership in the CMRITO
- Ultrasound ARDMS certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
