Lead Family Connections programs from Tyendinaga, Peterborough, Durham Community Hub, or Rama First Nation using culturally intelligent practices and Indigenous service knowledge.

As Support Services Supervisor, Family Connections, you will develop, implement, and evaluate Family Finding and Family & Community Connection programs. You will guide culturally relevant services for Indigenous children, youth, and families while supporting compliance with legislation, Ministry standards, Agency policies, and First Nations protocols. The position reports to the Senior Manager of Support & Clinical Services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee Family Finding and Family & Community Connection programs
- Evaluate services and identify evidence-informed improvements
- Collect, analyze, and report service data




- Build partnerships with communities and service providers
- Supervise, coach, and develop staff

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or BSW equivalency
- Five years’ Indigenous child well-being or child welfare experience
- Two years’ supervisory leadership experience
- Two years’ culturally appropriate Indigenous service model experience
- Ability to apply Indigenous and anti-oppressive lenses
