Own finance end to end at FORM, using financial modelling and controls to strengthen reporting in a Vancouver-founded sports technology company.

Reporting to the CEO, this Director of Finance leads the accounting function at a growing startup. You will oversee budgets, forecasts, cashflow, KPI reporting, and scenario planning. The role combines hands-on leadership with executive partnership, investor support, and compliance across Canada and the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the two-person accounting team and develop its Accountant
- Establish scalable controls for accurate financial statements
- Own short- and long-term cashflow planning
- Build budgets, forecasts, KPI reports, and financial models
- Support investor materials, Board reporting, and shareholder reporting

Requirements:

- CPA or equivalent qualification
- Seven to ten years of progressive finance experience
- Director-level startup leadership and team development experience
- Solid modelling, reporting, and storytelling skills
- Canadian, US, and international tax and accounting experience
