An established and growing North American manufacturer is seeking an experienced ERP Technical Developer to join its enterprise application development team. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale Microsoft Dynamics initiatives, develop custom ERP solutions, build integrations across critical business systems, and contribute to digital transformation efforts across multiple business units.

This position is ideal for a developer who enjoys solving complex business challenges, working directly with stakeholders, and designing scalable ERP solutions that support Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, and Operations teams.

What You'll Do

As an ERP Technical Developer, you will design, develop, maintain, and support Microsoft Dynamics ERP solutions while partnering with business and technology teams to deliver high-quality enterprise applications.

Core Responsibilities

- Design, develop, customize, and support Microsoft Dynamics ERP applications.
- Build and maintain custom extensions, enhancements, and integrations.
- Develop application components including:
- Forms
- Workflows
- Tables
- Reports
- Business logic
- Automation processes
- Perform technical analysis and solution design for new business requirements.
- Provide development estimates and recommendations for projects and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ERP application issues and production incidents.
- Participate in ERP implementation, upgrade, migration, and enhancement initiatives.




- Support application lifecycle activities including development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, functional teams, project managers, and end users to deliver scalable business solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and development standards.

Integration & Development

You’ll be responsible for developing and supporting integrations between ERP and enterprise systems, including:

- REST APIs
- OData Services
- Azure-based integrations
- Web Services
- External enterprise applications
- Third‑party business systems

You will also help ensure solutions remain scalable, maintainable, and compatible with future platform upgrades.

Technology Environment

Candidates should possess strong expertise in at least one of the following:

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations

- X++ Development
- Customizations

- Workflow Development

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

- AL Development
- Extensions
- APIs
- Application Customization

Desired Experience

Required

- 5+ years of Microsoft Dynamics ERP development experience.
- Hands-on expertise with:
- Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations / AX (X++)




- OR Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV (AL)
- Experience building ERP customizations and extensions.
- Integration experience utilizing APIs, OData, web services, or related technologies.
- Experience supporting enterprise ERP environments.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with source control, deployments, and development lifecycle management.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
