Lead 4G and 5G RAN optimization for Rogers in Brampton or Toronto, using network analytics to improve performance, capacity, and reliability.

As a Senior RAN Designer, you will support Rogers’ RAN Engineering and Innovation team. Apply wireless engineering fundamentals, KPI analysis, predictive analytics, and automation across 4G, 5G NSA, 5G SA, and 5G Advanced. Your work will translate complex performance data into actionable network improvements and support intelligent, cloud-enabled operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead RAN performance optimization across 4G and 5G capabilities
- Analyze KPIs, counters, traces, alarms, and traffic trends
- Validate strategies for coverage, capacity, mobility, and reliability
- Assess releases, features, hardware platforms, and vendor capabilities




- Create guidelines, test plans, and deployment documentation

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
- Several years’ wireless network engineering or RAN optimization experience
- Robust 4G, 5G, RAN architecture, and 3GPP knowledge
- Experience with KPI analysis, parameter optimization, and feature validation
- Working knowledge of Python, SQL, shell scripting, and Power BI
