Analyze transportation and marine claims at Intact using policy interpretation, negotiation, and robust decision-making skills. Work within a hybrid model supporting claims across Canada and the United States.

As a Claims Advisor, you will handle physical damage and cargo claims, from routine matters to complex losses. The work involves assessing coverage, determining fair entitlements, and communicating with customers, brokers, claimants, lawyers, and insurers. You will also investigate environmental losses and collaborate with the Bodily Injury team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze policies for coverage and fair claim entitlements
- Communicate respectfully with customers, brokers, claimants, and insurers
- Investigate cargo and environmental losses across Canada and the US




- Negotiate timely settlements for routine and complex claims
- Collaborate on significant losses and legislative compliance

Requirements:

- At least two years adjusting commercial auto claims
- Knowledge of provincial auto insurance legislation
- Expertise handling moderate to complex claims
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills
- CIP designation or Atlantic provincial licenses considered assets
