This Cybersecurity Consultant contract focuses on security change request review and governance. You will apply networking fundamentals, firewall security practices, cloud security principles, and zero trust concepts. The assignment includes a one-year contract ending December 14, 2027, subject to business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform intake and triage for security change requests
- Review firewall and Internet Proxy requests for completeness
- Validate rules against designs, policies, and NIST frameworks
- Clarify missing information with requestors
- Improve firewall change workflows continuously

Requirements:

- Understand TCP/IP, UDP, routing, addressing, and subnetting
- Understand VPNs, NAT, segmentation, zoning, SSL, TLS, and IPSEC
- Know firewall hardening and zero trust principles
- Hold a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
