Reporting to the Category Director, you will support products and customer programs across 500 grocery stores. The position combines merchandising, buying, retail sales, and category management experience with data-driven decision-making. Your work will connect customer insights, competitive trends, financial performance, vendors, and cross-functional partners. You will also champion Parrot, Merch OS, and evolving systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead promotional programs from product selection through performance review
- Execute category strategies using data and customer insights
- Manage assortment, pricing, sales, margin, and market share




- Negotiate vendor costs, funding, and commercial proposals
- Evaluate innovation and private-label product opportunities

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- At least two years in merchandising, buying, retail sales, or category management
- Solid analytical, financial, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Ability to manage priorities and make independent decisions
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, analytical platforms, and emerging AI tools
