Women and Babies Ultrasound Technologists perform obstetrical imaging and neonatal neurosonography, supporting diagnostic care in the WBUS department. The position includes on call shifts during evenings and weekends as needed.

This registered technologist performs fetal, neonatal, abdominal, and small parts ultrasound examinations. Responsibilities include Doppler assessment, patient history, informed consent, reporting, and equipment maintenance. The position also contributes to teaching, research, safety, and quality improvement programs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform high and low risk obstetrical ultrasound examinations
- Complete fetal and neonatal imaging procedures in WBUS
- Provide patient care and verify clinical information




- Maintain equipment and troubleshoot performance issues
- Document procedures and results in required reports

Requirements:

- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or recognized equivalent
- Mandatory Diagnostic Medical Sonographer registration with CMRITO
- Current BCLS certification
- Recent related ultrasound technologist experience required
- Ability to work on call rotation
