Cameco seeks a third- or fourth-year computer science student for a 12 to 16-month full time temporary term. Reporting to the Manager, IT Security and Risk, you will support the information security program, security awareness, and business technology services. The work term starts May 2027 and ends in May or August 2028.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support Cameco’s information security program implementation
- Promote IT security awareness across the organization
- Investigate security incidents and monitor unauthorized activity
- Review security configurations against established requirements
- Contribute to security projects and process improvements

Requirements:

- Third- or fourth-year computer science student
- Currently enrolled in a related university program
- Return to school after the Cameco work term
- Basic understanding of computer networks and security principles
- Pass a pre-employment background check
