Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant supports corporate finance through general accounting, financial statements, and ledger management. The position also contributes to budgeting, forecasting, audit support, and analysis. It works with Finance colleagues and internal stakeholders to deliver complete, accurate information on time.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting activities
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and schedules
- Maintain general ledger and balance sheet accounts
- Prepare ASPE financial statements and disclosures




- Investigate discrepancies and complete timely adjustments

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or related field
- Three to five years of progressive accounting experience
- Solid general accounting and financial-reporting knowledge
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong accuracy, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
