Deliver pediatric medicine nursing care in person at Health Sciences Centre Winnipeg, using critical thinking and patient-prioritization skills. Shared Health supports Manitoba’s health services.

As a General Duty Nurse (N2), you will work in CH4 Pediatric Medicine within Shared Health’s clinical job stream. The position requires approved Registered Nursing education, current Manitoba registration, and nursing-care knowledge related to the clinical area. Pediatric experience, recent pediatric medicine experience, and PALS are preferred. Effective communication, medication calculation competency, and computer proficiency are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform independently and within the healthcare team
- Maintain concentration with frequent interruptions
- Demonstrate medication calculation competency during orientation

Requirements:

- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program
- Maintain proof of College registration in Manitoba
- Meet employer CPR training requirements
- Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Manage moderate to heavy physical effort
