The Student, Systems Administrator supports day-to-day technology operations at Cameco. You will develop foundational enterprise systems skills through server administration, maintenance, documentation, and infrastructure support. The work includes cybersecurity, change management, and IT service management procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with Windows and Linux server administration and provisioning
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and support patching
- Maintain virtualization, storage, backup, and recovery systems
- Track hardware and software assets throughout their lifecycles




- Maintain documentation, inventories, and infrastructure project support

Requirements:

- Third- or fourth-year student in a related post-secondary program
- Basic understanding of Windows or Linux operating systems
- Fundamental TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and troubleshooting knowledge
- Basic cybersecurity knowledge covering permissions and system updates
- Must return to school after the Cameco work term
