Lead global payroll delivery for PartnerRe from Toronto, combining payroll compliance expertise with hybrid work three days weekly in office. Support operations across North America, Europe, and APAC.

As Senior Global Payroll Specialist, you will execute multi-country payroll while serving as a subject matter expert, mentor, and project lead. Your work covers reconciliation, statutory requirements, benefits, audits, stakeholder coordination, and technology modernization. You will remain involved in daily payroll delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process regular, off-cycle, bonus, and year-end payrolls globally
- Reconcile payroll data, taxes, deductions, benefits, and earnings
- Resolve complex payroll issues with vendors and stakeholders




- Prepare reports and maintain audit-ready documentation
- Lead modernization, testing, automation, and process improvement initiatives

Requirements:

- Seven or more years of progressive payroll experience
- Solid payroll compliance and statutory knowledge
- Global payroll exposure, especially United States and Canada
- Project leadership or senior payroll resource experience
- Analytical, communication, discretion, and stakeholder management skills
