Lead GST/HST and sales tax planning as an Indirect Tax Manager with MNP, advising clients through complex Canadian tax requirements.

This Manager serves as a trusted advisor within MNP’s Indirect Tax team. You will deliver customized federal and local strategies, manage client portfolios, and address complex tax issues. The work combines engagement leadership, technical expertise, relationship development, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead client-facing GST/HST and sales tax engagement teams
- Develop strategies that minimize liability while maintaining compliance
- Manage client relationships, risks, accounts, and added-value opportunities
- Research commodity and indirect tax developments and implications
- Plan engagements, schedules, budgets, billing, collections, and variances

Requirements:

- CPA designation
- Completion of Level 1 In-depth Tax Program
- Four to five years of relevant public accounting or tax consulting experience
- Extensive working knowledge of Canadian Tax
- Proven people management, relationship-building, and leadership skills
