Lead Process Control and Automation across Northern Alberta, based in Slave Lake on-site or Edmonton remotely, with 50%–70% travel required.

As Tolko’s Automation & Controls Supervisor, you will provide regional leadership for manufacturing operations across Northern Alberta and Saskatchewan. You will guide Control Systems Specialists, partner with divisional leaders, and improve safety, quality, throughput, reliability, and uptime. The position covers process optimization, technical specifications, plant-wide control systems, and critical support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide regional oversight for Process Control, Automation, and Optimization systems
- Recommend controls improvements supporting safety, quality, throughput, and reliability
- Guide Control Systems Specialists across regional operations




- Develop and commission plant-wide automation solutions
- Maintain PLC, HMI, historian, and networking infrastructure

Requirements:

- Technical or engineering degree, diploma, or professional certification
- Seven or more years in industrial Controls and Automation
- Leadership experience within a technical or controls setting
- Forest products experience; OSB manufacturing is a strong asset
- Hands-on Allen-Bradley PLC and Rockwell Software experience
