Underground safety coordination meets training expertise at Manroc Developments Inc. Support site objectives at the Hemlo Mining Corp. project site.

This coordinator provides safety and training support within underground mining operations. The work includes audits, inspections, incident investigations, worker information, and supervisory mentorship. You will help apply safety systems, address hazards, and support legislative requirements under Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide expertise supporting site safety and training objectives
- Conduct safety audits and workplace inspections
- Collaborate on incident and injury investigations
- Mentor supervisors applying safety systems
- Follow up on hazards and corrective actions

Requirements:

- Ontario Underground Common Core certification required
- At least five years of underground mining experience
- At least two years in a safety-oriented role
- Working knowledge of Ontario safety legislation
- Robust organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
