Lead electrical system coordination in Ajax with SCADA, OMS, and grid conditions expertise supporting Elexicon Energy’s System Control Centre.

As Senior System Operator, you will provide leadership, oversight, and support to System Operators and System Control Centre clients. You will help maintain work coordination, scheduling, and system condition processes for Elexicon’s electric distribution system. The position requires regulatory knowledge, operational judgment, and strong communication. You will also support improvements involving policies, procedures, systems, and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead System Operators in applying scheduling and grid processes
- Track work requests, statuses, system conditions, and devices
- Advise clients and leadership about grid risks and service requests
- Support continuous improvement of OMS, ADMS,



and SCADA tools
- Maintain operating, interruption, load transfer, and outage records

Requirements:

- Seven years’ experience in an electrical utility environment
- Electrical or Electronics Technology qualification from an accredited institute
- MEARIE Operator in Training or Certified EDA System Operator completion
- Knowledge of Utility Work Protection Code and Electrical Utility Safety Rules
- Solid leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
