Deliver ultrasound examinations at Medcan’s Markham clinic using clinical expertise, patient safety protocols, and client-focused communication. This full time role schedules 40 hours weekly between Monday and Saturday.

Medcan seeks an experienced Sonographer for its high-performance clinical team in Markham. You will support Annual Health Assessments and other services through sonography examinations, patient flow, and service coordination. The position requires collaboration across clinic teams and occasional training at Toronto’s 150 York Street clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare examination rooms and ultrasound equipment
- Review histories, assess contraindications, and obtain consent
- Perform ultrasound examinations and document findings




- Maintain equipment and complete basic quality control checks
- Coordinate patient flow with cross-functional clinic teams

Requirements:

- One-plus years performing sonographer examinations
- Abdominal examination experience
- Breast, transvaginal, or transrectal experience is an asset
- CMRITO membership and Ultrasound ARDMS certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
