Design mixed-signal IC layouts in Markham with Cadence Virtuoso, CMOS expertise, and transistor-level analog and digital circuit knowledge.

AMD seeks a candidate for its full custom IC layout group. You will design layouts from schematics using industry-leading CAD tools and foundry technology. The work spans lower-level cells, macros, IPs, and top-level integration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create robust transistor-level analog and digital layouts
- Floorplan, route, and assemble cells into macros
- Build abstract models and tapeout collateral
- Run DRC, LVS, ERC, EM/IR, and latch-up checks
- Explore AI-assisted layout and verification workflows

Requirements:

- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree, or Electronics diploma
- Understanding of CMOS device and circuit theory
- Proficiency with Virtuoso, Calibre, or similar tools
- Experience with physical verification flows
- Exposure to advanced nodes and custom layout
