We are partnering with a project-based skilled services organization to hire a Controller to support financial operations and drive business performance. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team and play a key role in both day-to-day accounting and strategic decision-making. Salary: $90.00 - $100.00 hourly Location: downtown Vancouver Contract to permanent hire (starting in a contract position to ensure right fit) Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm Hybrid work model ResponsibilitiesLead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Oversee general accounting functions, including reconciliations and close processes Manage project-based financial tracking, including budgeting, forecasting,



and variance analysis Partner with operational leaders to provide insight into project performance and profitability Support cash flow management, budgeting, and long-term financial planning Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and support audit processes Maintain and enhance internal controls, policies, and financial procedures QualificationsCPA designation required 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including leadership exposure Strong background in project-based or professional services environments Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate financial insights clearly NetSuite experience Strong understanding of GAAP Interested?
