We are looking to onboard an independent owner-operator to join our team in support of the Carrier's transportation needs and to service its customers.
This Owner-Operator will be granted the option to operate under the Carrier's Nation Safety Code and Fleet Insurance Program.
Qualifications
Business Prospect
We wish to partner with an independent incorporated business to provide a current model truck and qualified operator to provide local pick-up and delivery services within the service area of the Saskatoon Terminal.
The Services require business flexibility but are generally required over 5 days per week and may include some weekends.
Operational flexibility is a must.
The qualified operator is responsible for meeting all regulatory requirements, including Pre and post-trip inspections of equipment, and may include the delivery of periodic dock services to load and unload freight as required.
Operate within the standards and requirements as outlined in the services contract.
The Business must provide WCB Coverage to its Operators
Responsible for the pickup and delivery of freight within the Saskatoon service area, while adhering to company policies and procedures
Efficiently and safely picking up and delivering LTL freight

Additional Information
Operator Qualifications
Class One License
1 year of experience
Responsible for loading/unloading freight
Good understanding of the Hours of Service regulations
Forklift ticket is an asset
TDG, WHMIS, and Forklift experience are an asset
Must be able to provide a criminal record check, driver's abstract, and 2 references confirming the delivery of service excellence
Equipment Requirements:
Mechanically Fit City Tractor & ELD Compatible
Truck specifications that align with the Carrier's requirements
