Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (10+ years) to lead end-to-end requirements management using Agile/Scrum-

Drive a high-impact MPW Replatform initiative within a complex, highly regulated insurance workplace.

This role leads requirements from discovery to implementation, translating business needs into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows while partnering across business, operations, technology, vendors, and Quality Engineering.

The position offers cross-functional visibility and ownership across workshops, backlog refinement, sprint planning, dependencies, and traceability to ensure outcomes align with stakeholder needs.

Location: Toronto or Waterloo- Hybrid - 3 Days a Week on Site

Duration: 1 Year

Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week

Must Haves
10+ years in IT with 5+ years as a Business Analyst supporting technology delivery initiatives
Proven delivery in Agile/Scrum and hybrid environments
Financial services domain with wealth and transformation experience in highly regulated settings
End-to-end requirements management, user stories,



acceptance criteria, testing, and UAT
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline

Master’s degree

Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end requirements management from discovery through implementation and post-release support
Translate business requirements into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Facilitate workshops and working sessions with business SMEs, Product, Compliance, Operations, vendors, and technology stakeholders
Support solution design by identifying integrations, data mappings, process impacts, and upstream/downstream dependencies
Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability across requirements, development artifacts, test cases, and delivered solutions
Support UAT and defect resolution with Quality Engineering and business teams
Support Agile/Scrum delivery activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, prioritization, and delivery execution
