Job Summary Under the direction of the Watson Lake Office, this individual will aid in the daily operations of the business by performing a variety of labour tasks.

Duties And Responsibilities

- Site Maintenance
- Restocking admin supplies
- Garbage and snow removal
- Assist skilled tradespersons such as carpenters, plumbers and mechanics
- Extinguisher checks
- Cleaning of service stations
- Weed clearing from all buildings and service stations
- May perform other activities, such as filling warehouse orders, assisting in taking inventory and weighing and checking materials.
- Other duties as assigned

Relationships This position works with all departments including Office and Highways divisions. Must be able to work independently or with a Team.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to lift a minimum of 55 lbs pounds routinely. Be willing to operate/learn to use a forklift.



Has the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and participate in highly active physical duties. Must be able to operate company vehicles.

Requires walking on varying surfaces, including hazardous and slippery conditions throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to move product. Ability to deal with varying levels of heights and small spaces. This position has contact with various fluids and materials and all personnel filling this position must be comfortable in their knowledge of all materials and comfortable working with them.

Employment Requirements

- Completion of Secondary School is an asset
- A valid Class 5 driver’s Licence

Workplace This position is exposed to all elements; hot, cold, rain, snow, wind, ice and humidity, and the chosen individual is expected to work in different adverse weather conditions.
