The head office is located in Brantford.Major Duties and Responsibilities:The successful candidates will provide direct services and/or consultation in mental health promotion, prevention and intervention to students, staff, and families. The candidate will conduct risk assessments and respond to, and support crises and traumatic situations as well as liaise with community agencies and support pathways to care within the Grand Erie District School Board and the community. Additionally, social workers will provide attendance counselling and intervention in accordance with the Education Act. Social Workers will follow procedures and practices related to, but not limited to, case management, informed consent, confidentiality, and record keeping as well as perform other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor of Social Work or Master of Social Work degree is required; verification of post‑secondary education (degree or original transcript)
