Shape credit risk frameworks at EQ, combining commercial underwriting, AIRB knowledge, and leadership while working hybrid from Toronto’s Ontario Street office.
As Senior Manager, Credit Risk, you will support the Director, Credit Risk Management, and Senior Management across the Bank. Your focus includes second line oversight, policy recommendations, quality assurance, new initiatives, and risk input for Commercial, CSV, and BFC portfolios. You will manage the Credit Risk Team and stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities: Recommend enhancements to credit policies and procedures
Support Commercial Credit quality reviews and compliance programs
Provide risk input for new markets and products
Assess financial models, capital impacts,



and risk appetite
Maintain AIRB frameworks across Commercial, SFR, and current products
Requirements: At least 10 years of lending experience
Business or finance diploma or degree preferred
CFA, MBA, or accounting designation preferred
Demonstrated leadership and strategic thinking skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in high-volume settings
Use strategic credit leadership, policy expertise, and AIRB knowledge to strengthen risk oversight across EQ’s lending businesses.
