Lead utility-scale Solar PV integration for Hatch from Mississauga, Montreal, or Vancouver, using technical expertise and business development skills.
As a Solar PV Lead, you will support global eGRID projects while reporting to the Global Lead, Renewable Power and Energy Storage. The work spans energy production estimates, techno-economic assessments, facility design, vendor engagement, and client delivery. You will help grow Hatch’s Solar business in Canada and globally.
Key Responsibilities: Lead Solar PV business development and client relationship activities
Prepare proposals, identify markets, and pitch prospective clients
Assess technologies, sizing, specifications, vendors, and project delivery
Manage technical projects or engineer client engagements




Mentor engineers and present technical papers at conferences
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Minimum 10 years’ experience as a licensed skilled engineer
Utility-scale project management and delivery experience considered an asset
Familiarity with PVsyst, Helioscope, Homer Pro, PSSE, or PSCAD
Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
